I love staying in Hotels. I'm not quite sure what it is about them maybe it's the fact that I get special little extras like Shampoo, Conditioner a shower cap and on rare occasions a shoe mitten. Or maybe it's the fact that I get fresh towels every morning and I don't have to make my bed. Whatever the reason we had a particularly lovely 24th in our recent hotel stay at the Little America. And so in honor of my hotel love affair I have document a few of my favorites.
6 Down Pillows (Blake said he woke up in the middle of the night to find me engulfed in all but one. The last one he had managed to same for himself. What can I say.. I love me some fluffy pillows.)

But most of all I loved a good BOUNCE on the king sized bed!
Thanks Laurie & Scott we had a BLAST!!

This is from a book we found in Anthropology (love that store). This is a picture from the cover of the book. Hmmm how very interesting a one handed botanist and his book on vertical gardening.
Blake's thoughts on obesity in America.

The Chef at Blake's work got a sampling of fishy delights from a company he purchases seafood goods from. Since he had a little extra he offered Blake a prime fillet of Ahi Tuna. Blake was ecstatic to say the least and rushed straight way to the sushi store to stock up on wasabi and sticky rice.
YUMMY!
* Well it would be if I liked sushi... I actually HATE fish. I think the strong dislike could come from the fact that I wasn't aloud to leave the table until all my microwave oven fish sticks had been eaten. (I use to plug my nose and chew them up until my parents weren't looking. Then I would spit them into my napkin and shove the napkin in my pocket for secret disposal later.) Or maybe I it's because Blake made me try Sushi on our very first date. (When sea weed touches me at the beach I scream and run away.) It wasn't that great going down my throat either. I threw up in my mouth and then had to swallow because I was in his car!
Either way Blake sure did have a BLAST making it and that's what counts right!

Today while Blake and I were having a conversation he pointed out that I had a BUGGER in my nose... and then proceeded to try and retrieve it. I flailed backwards screaming, "what the heck do you think you are doing... I can get my own buggers thank you!"
I wonder what this says about our relationship?

Blake and I Love Mexican food we always try to find some were ever we go. (We even found some in Paris... it was NOT very good). You can always be sure the food is going to be good when it has been getting rave reviews and a 2009 best ZAGAT rating.
One of my very favorite desserts is fried ice cream. I have tried it practically every were and so have become quite the fine connoisseur. Needless to say the Red Iguana did NOT disappoint!
The Red Iguana is located in Salt Lake. Both the food and service were great... the Utah prices didn't hurt either! :)

STYLIN' CHALKBOARD
I'd like to take credit for this lovely idea but it was not I that implemented this spectacular use of neglected space but rather Blake. He thought that what the Alta Club Fitness Center really needed was a stylish calender chalkboard. Complete with Alta Club logo and custom frosted mountain peaks. Which leaves this interior designer very PROUD!

BUSINESS CARDS
I received my very first set of REAL GROWNUP business cards. I defiantly think my name looks fabulous printed in black and white! (Despite the fact that the designer of these particular cards doesn't know how to center text. Oh well they were FREE.)
FIRST CLIENT MEETING
Also this past month I had my first client meeting.
It went really well... personally I think it was the custom water bottles!
